The collection consists of correspondence to Jane Teasley from James J. Norman (15th Regiment, Georgia Infantry, Company I), and James William Thornton, James W. H. Hunt, and Singleton J. W. Hunt (all in 38th Regiment, Georgia Infantry, Company F) from 1859-1886. The collection also includes some genealogy of the Teasley, Thornton, and Herndon families, photographs, receipts, and a poem written for James W. Thornton.
