The collection consists of five framed historic documents donated by the W. Newton Morris Charitable Foundation of Atlanta, Georgia. The documents are: 1.) Jefferson Davis letter, July 25, 1850; 2.) James Southall agreement with Mr. William Boucher, June 1797; 3.) Land indenture agreement, January 13, 1843; 4.) John Wilson letter (State vs. Mabrey & Evans); 5.) George Walton letter, January 23, 1709.

George Walton (1749-1804) was one of three Georgians to sign the Declaration of Independence. He served lawyer, judge, governor and senator of Georgia.
Jefferson Davis (1808-1889) was President of the Confederate States of America.
