The Beehive Press was founded by Mills Lane in 1970 in Savannah, Georgia. It specializes in publishing books about the cultural and social history of Georgia and the South. For more information, see the Beehive Press website.
Edward J. Cashin (1927-2007) was a historian of colonial and Revolutionary-era Georgia. Cashin served on the faculty of Augusta State University from 1969 until his retirement in 1996.
