The collection consists primarily of material related to Malizia's career with Snapper Power Equipment, including clippings and printed material, appointment books, financial papers, letters, and other business related material. Also included are photographs, slides, awards, and memorabilia.

Biographical / historical:

Anthony A. Malizia joined Snapper Power Equipment (producer of lawn care equipment and formerly known as McDonough Power Equipment) in 1950 as a field salesman. He worked his way up through the positions of sales manager, vice president, and vice chairman. In 1975 he became president and chief operating officer, and in 1980, chairman and chief executive officer. He retired in 1990.
