Scope and content:

The collection consists of nine black and white photographs of youth engaging in various recreational activities at Camp Koinonia, Koinonia Farm's Interracial Children's Camp, Monteagle, Tennessee, taken in 1955. Also included are newspaper articles and pamphlets regarding Koinonia, and two health inspector's reports of Koinonia.

Biographical / historical:

Koinonia Farm was established in Sumter County, Georgia in 1942, by Mabel and Martin England and Florence and Clarence Jordan.
