Scope and content:

The collection consists of a narrative by J.R. McCord recollection of his his experiences as a Confederate soldier during the Civil War. Also included are transcripts of the narrative; the front cover of The Sale City Aviatrix, September 1919, with a photograph of McCord; and a letter to Mrs. William Pope, 1975, regarding McCord's narrative.
