The collection consists of a white graduation dress from the State Normal School, Athens, Georgia, which belonged to Mamie Pearl Parker, who attended the State Normal School 1909-1911.
- Biographical / historical:

Mamie Pearl Parker was born September 11, 1891 in Rockdale County, Georgia, and attended the State Normal School 1909-1911. She was employed by the U.S. Government as a statistician in Washington, D.C., and married Wilfrid Honore Morin of Brunswick, Maine, on December 18, 1930. Mrs. Morin died in Ormond Beach, Florida, on March 27, 1971 and is buried in East View Cemetery in Conyers, Georgia, with Wilfrid who died November 3, 1979.
