The collection consists of a boldly signed and dated photograph of General Henry C. Wayne taken in Savannah, Georgia. The photograph depicts a striking pose of the former commander of the Georgia Militia.

Biographical / historical:

General Henry C. Wayne was a commissioned Brigadier General and ordered to Manassas Junction under General Joseph E. Johnston. Later he resigned and reverted to his previous position as adjuant general of Georgia.
