Scope and content:

The collection consists of S.H. Sibley's University of Georgia monthly grade reports. Dated 1889, and 1890-1892, reports grade coursework on a scale of deficient to excellent, and mark absences and tardiness from lectures, prayer and church. The collection also includes two receipts of payment administered by University of Georgia for S. H. Sibley.

Biographical / historical:

Samuel Hale Sibley (1873-1958) was born in Union Point, Georgia. Sibley received his undergraduate from University of Georgia in 1892, and B.L. from University of Georgia School of Law in 1893.
