Scope and content:

The collection consists of correspondence, manuscripts of her works, and printed material relating to science fiction. The correspondence includes letters from readers, members of various science fiction associations, other science fiction writers such as Brad Strickland and Tom Deitz, Webb's family, publishers, and Webb's agent Adele Leone.

Biographical / historical:

Sharon Lynn Webb (1936-) was a nurse and an author from Blairsville, Georgia. Webb is the author of RN (1981), Earthchild (1982), Earth Song (1983), Ram Song (1984), Adventures of Terra Tarkington (1985), Pestis 18, 1987, The Halflife (1989), and over 40 short stories. She is a member of the Author's Guild/League and Science Fiction Writers of America where she served as south/central director and as a member of the board directors.
