Scope and content:

The collection consists of two copies of eight climatological summaries created by the United States Department of Commerce, Weather Bureau during the 1950s. The collection also includes issues of Georgia Climatological Data of U.S. Department of Agriculture, Weather Bureau from 1931-1935, and two letters from George W. Mindling, U.S. Department of Agriculture, Weather Bureau, Atlanta, Georgia, dated 1937, regarding the Atlantic City meeting of the American Meteorological Society, and the Federal Writers' Project.

Gift of Mr. Horace Sanders Carter, University of Georgia, in 1960.
