The collection consists of two letters: dated Camp near Chattanooga, October 7, 1863, "Captain Isaac Shelby, Jr.," signed "W.S. Munday," regarding distribution of cattle and moving headquarters to Dalton, Georgia; dated Ringgold, September 22, 1863, to "Captain Isaac Shelby, Buckner Corps," signed "W.S. Munday," regarding Tunnel Hill, and lack of courier and horse.
