The collection consists of a letter from Ray Clarke at St. Mary's, Georgia, dated March 3, 1813, to his father Ethan Clarke. Clarke discusses the taking of Nathaniel Pendleton's testimony, visiting the plantation of Nathanael Green, the cargo of a captured French ship which was brought to St. Mary's, and the activities of U.S. troops in Florida against the Seminole Indians. Also included is a typescript and cast of characters as they appear in the letter.
