Scope and content:

The collection consists of two volumes. Volume one of the set is a biographical sketch of Mr. McElreath and volume two deals with the McElreath, McClung and McEachern families.

Biographical / historical:

Walter McElreath was an Atlanta attorney, businessman and chairman of the board of the Atlanta Federal Savings and Loan. He was also one of the founders of the Atlanta Historical Society.
