Scope and content:

The collection consists of a record book of the Newton County Agricultural Society (Covington, Ga.). The majority of the volume contains lists of names and items brought for display at agricultural fairs, including the Brick Store Agricultural Fair held October 24, 1876. Also included are minutes of the society's meetings for April-May, and June of 1873. Laid in the volume are two advertisements of the Gregg Reaper, 1882-1884.
