David Wilson Meadow (1852-1917), lawyer and judge of Clarke County, Georgia. Married Susie Colbert (1862-1948) in 1886. Children include Hilda (b. 1888), lawyer, married Albert Tilton (d. 1957) in 1925; William King (b. 1891), lawyer and soldier in France during World War I; Kathleen (b. 1897) (Brown); and Harold Letcher (b. 1901).
The David Meadows Family lived in Clarke and Madison Counties. David Meadows was a lawyer and state judge; his son William King Meadows was an attorney in Athens (with the firm Shackleford and Shackleford) and in Atlanta (with the firm King and Spalding); his daughter Hilda Meadows Tilton was an attorney in Athens. David Meadows married Susie Colbert of Athens. Hilda M. Tilton's husband Albert was an Internal Revenue Service agent from New Hampshire where his family operated Tilton's Furriers.
