Scope and content:

The collection consists of a memory book inscribed "Presented to Miss Mary N. Branham by Emilie Czurda on Christmas Eve 1856." The album contains scores and music lyrics by Vincent Czurda and Harry Lynden Flash, poems, and quotes written by friends and family in and around Eatonton, Georgia. Also included in the collection is a marriage license of Mary Branham to Samuel Dunlap, Jr., 1859.

Biographical / historical:

Mary Nisbet Branham lived in Eatonton, Georgia, and was the sister of Joel Branham, a prominent Eatonton citizen. In December, 1859, Mary Branham was married to Samuel Dunlap, Jr.
