Scope and content:

The collection consists of a record book containing minutes of the Trustees of the Zebulon Academy from 1837-1849. Minutes describe the course of study, tuition, rules for the male and female branches, and hiring teachers. The volume also accounts for cash received and paid from 1838-1839.

Acquired from the L. Hargrett estate in 1962.
