Background

Scope and content:

The collection consists of a scroll and a bound volume of Coptic Scriptures from the mid-nineteenth century. Both manuscripts are on vellum and rubricated. The volume bound between wooden boards, is encased in its original leather sling pouch. The script is meditational, excerpting portions of the Psalms.
