The collection consists of miscellaneous memorabilia and relics related to the State of Georgia and Georgia relics. Included are a tattered Confederate flag given to University President Harmon Caldwell in 1947 (allegedly of 1863 Georgia origin, but found not to be authentic); wire-rim glasses from Ballard's opticians of Atlanta; silver plate butter knife made by Geo. Sharp, Jr. of Atlanta; Dahlonega (Georgia) mementos including two commemorative tokens and a miniature pan with a small piece of gold ore; a curl; a lock of hair supposed to be Button Gwinnett's; a watch fob stamped 1G3; a medical instrument; a box of miniature Georgia state flags; pine needles formed into a bow from the Barrow collection; a brick from Old Wesleyan; Stone Mountain Confederate Memorial granite; a 1925 Stone Mountain memorial coin; and a Fulton County Centennial medal 1854-1864.
