He had three children with his wife Mary Wallace Nuttall De Renne: Wymberley Jones De Renne (1853-1916), Letitia De Renne (1860-1890), and Kentwyn De Renne (1862-1891), who continued their father's legacy of collecting and printing books related to Georgia's history. Wymberley Jones De Renne married Laura Norris and their children included Wymberley Wormsloe De Renne (b. 1891) and Elfrida De Renne (Barrow).
