Scope and content:

The collection consists of papers of Gelfand beginning in 1882. Currently the collection consists of two series: the records of Delta Tau Delta, Beta Chapter records from the University of Georgia fraternity, the other consisting of Athens, Georgia restaurant menus. More series will be added as the collection is updated.

Biographical / historical:

Dr. H. Michael Gelfand (b. 1967) was an undergraduate student at the University of Georgia from 1985 to 1989, and a graduate student from 1992 to 1994. He was also a secretary to Dr. Billups Phinizy Spalding from 1991 to 1994.
