The collection primarily consists of sketches, drawings, and other artwork by Jack Adams as well as work done by his students. Copies of letters from Professor Lamar Dodd dated 1936 to 1939 are included in addition to a biography of Jack Adams by Rich Curtis.

Denzil Roy "Jack" Adams, Jr. was born in Boston, Georgia in 1916. He studied art at the University of Georgia under Professor Lamar Dodd. He later served in WWII and became an art teacher. Jack Adams died in 1990.
