Scope and content:

The collection consists of a folio of marching band sheet music, choreography charts, and two "rat caps", which are small-billed hats that were supposed to be worn by freshmen.

Biographical / historical:

Rhett Tanner was a University of Georgia student and member of the Redcoat Marching Band ("Dixie" Redcoat Band at the time) in the 1950s.
