This collection consists of items that were given out at the 2014 reception honoring the 100th anniversary of Cooperative Extension and the Smith-Lever Act.

Biographical / historical:

In 1914, Congress established the Cooperative Extension Service through the Smith-Lever Act to deliver information from land-grant colleges and universities to all Americans. The mission of UGA Extension is to extend lifelong learning to the people of Georgia through unbiased, research-based education in agriculture, the environment, communities, youth and families.
