Scope and content:

The collection consists of a photograph taken in August of 1926 at the International Congress of Plant Scientists held at Cornell University, Ithaca, NY. The photograph depicts members of the Botanical Society of America Mycology group. Two members of this group, Drs. Julian H. Miller and John Moore Reade, were (or became) influential UGA-affiliated professors and scientists.

The International Congress of Plant Scientists was held at Cornell University, Ithaca, NY from August 16-23, 1926. The members of the Botanical Society of America Mycology group held a meeting at the Conference and featured, Drs. Julian H. Miller and John Moore Reade, who were (or became) influential UGA affiliated professors and scientists.
