Scope and content:

This collection contains materials that help document Dr. James E. Kundell's expertise regarding environmental policies and legislation, and water resource management. The collection (1970s-2015) consists of many different formats such as teaching materials, photographs, presentation notes, and publications.

Biographical / historical:

Dr. James E. Kundell is the author of more than 150 books, articles and policy reports on environmental policy topics. He is a reknown expert on various water issues, environmental policy and water resource management. In addition to serving on numerous committees and advising both federal and Georgia officials, Dr. Kundell has also worked with governmental officials on environmental matters in Brazil, China and Ukraine. Before retirement, Dr. Kundell had a joint appointment with the Eugene Odum School of Ecology and the Carl Vinson Institute of Government. He currently serves as Professor Emeritus at the Odum School of Ecology.
