The collection consists of two letters from John Archibald Campbell to Rebecca Butler regarding family matters, the education of Campbell's children, and the economy (1842, 1885). Also included is a deed of gift of enslaved people named Robert Whitman, Nancy, Judy, Sarah, and Ivry, from Campbell to Butler.
