Materials relating to Edward Harden, a planter [enslaver] and politician from Savannah and Athens, include indentures, receipts, account books (1836-1842) for his law practice, and common place books (1805, 1830-1837) containing accounts for his plantations, legal notes, and journal entries. Some materials describe persons enslaved by Edward Harden.
