Historical Note

The 945th Field Artillery Battalion was created in 1941 and was deployed in Europe in August, 1944, in support of U.S. Army XII Corps during World War II.

William M. Coscgrove is the author of Time on Target: The 945th Field Artillery Battalion in World War II.

Scope and Content

This collection contains photographs, manuals, reunion and convention materials regarding World War II and the 945th Field Artillery Battalion, and materials used in the creation of William Cosgrove's book Time On Target (1997).
