A two-page letter from Eston [Whelchel] to "My dear folk at home" dated 26 October 1903 from Lytle, Georgia. The accompanying stamped envelope has a fine Lytle, Georgia postmark also and is addressed to Mrs. M. E. Whelchel, Jefferson, Georgia. The letter mentions "oppossum hunting," civil service papers, and dry weather.
