Scope and Content
The collection consists of diaries of Nell Upshaw Gannon from 1933-1973. The entries mainly discuss Gannon's daily activities with much emphasis on social events in Athens (Ga.) including visits and visitors and her involvement in various women's clubs. Also includes descriptions of vacations and trips, particularly the World's Fair in Chicago and a trip to Cuba.
