Edward Henry Gordon Craig (better known as Gordon Craig) was an English actor, director, designer, producer, and theorist who influenced the development of the theatre in the 20th century. He also carved woodcut bookplates in the style of the 1700s for friends and wrote the book, Nothing, or the Bookplate.

The collection consists of twenty-nine bookplates and twenty-one prints by Edward Gordon Craig. Some of these are illustrated in Craig's book Nothing, or the Bookplate. Craig's autograph is on the manila folder in which the bookplates came.
