Leonidas A. Jordan (1823-1899) was a planter and businessman from Macon, Georgia. He married Julia Hurt Colquitt in 1868. After Julia's death in 1891, he married Ilah Dunlap in 1894. Upon his death in 1899, Ilah inherited his fortune. When she died in 1939, she left a portion of her estate to the University of Georgia Libraries for the creation of the Ilah Dunlap Little Memorial Library, which opned in 1953.
The collection consists of one volume containing a few handwritten poems and notes. "Leonidas A. Jordan" is written on the first page, and some writings are signed and dated "Westover, 1853."
