Collection Description
Scope and Content
The collection consists of a diary kept by William Montague Browne in 1870, and "Catalogue of books in the Library of Gen. Wm. M. Browne, late of Athens, Ga," undated. Also included are photocopies of correspondences to and from Browne, dated 1861-approximately 1877. Correspondences regard family matters, such as births, weddings, and obituaries.
