Scope and Content
The collection consists of photostats of editorials from northern newspapers concerning the beginning of the Civil War. These editorials are clipped and stapled on light weight cardboard.
Organization and Arrangement
Organized into three boxes alphabetically by state: (1) Connecticut, Delaware, District of Columbia, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Maine, Massachusetts (2) Michigan, Minnesota, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Ohio (3) Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Vermont, West Virginia, Wisconsin. Arranged alphabetically by state.
