Historical Note
The Georgia Designer Craftsmen formed in 1959 in Athens, Georgia with the idea of promoting a better understanding between craftsmen and the public and to work more efficiently toward common goals. The group was affiliated with the American Crafts Council.
Scope and Content
Collection consists of membership handbooks, meeting minutes, promotional materials, newletters, photographs, and other related materials pertaining to the Georgia Designer Craftsmen.
