Charles Grapewin (1869-1956) was a circus acrobat, writer, and performer in vaudeville, on stage, and in motion pictures from their earliest forms. As a vaudeville performer, he partnered with his wife Anna Chance (1875-1943. Grapewin's most memorable movie role was playing Uncle Henry, husband of Aunt Em, in The Wizard of Oz.
This collection contains a scrapbook featuring newspaper reviews and advertisements for the performances of Charles Grapewin and Anna Chance, recording their 1902-1903 season.
