Historical Note
Hetty Jane Dunaway Sewell (1879-1961) was an actress, singer, and performer specializing in one person monologues, who performed widely across the eastern United States in summer theater chautauqua circuits. She created a theater school in an elaborate garden setting at her home near Newnan, Georgia during the 1930s.
Scope and Content
This collection contains a tri-fold brochure featuring Hetty Jane Dunaway and her production of Lady of the Decoration one person performance. Other titles featrued are American Girl with the Japanese and Russian Soldiers and A Trip to Japan.
