Dr. John Ingalls was a prominent pharmacist from Macon, Georgia. He served as treasurer of the Georgia Pharmaceutical Association, organized in Macon in 1875, and as President of the American Pharmaceutical Association in 1884.

Consists of a pharmacy ledger containing the prescriptions Dr. Ingalls wrote for his patients in 1885.
