John Ernest Donalson (1846-1920) was a prominent Georgia businessperson, lawyer, judge, and Confederate veteran. He founded Donalson Lumber Company in the city of Donalsonville, Georgia, and conducted much of his business from Bainbridge, Georgia.
This collection consists of business correspondence, legal cases, personal papers and correspondence, bills and receipts, land grants, indentures, bonds, deeds, and family photographs. Documents in the collection span from 1843 to 1943.
