Thomas Holmes Kenan, court clerk for Baldwin County, Georgia, describes the case of Rodney, an enslaved man who is convicted of burning down a cotton gin house.

This collection consists of one legal proceeding, dated February 1819, describing the sentencing of an enslaved man, Rodney, who is accused of burning down the cotton gin house of the enslaver Major John A.
