Walter Tillou Forbes (1877-1944) was Secretary of the Athens, Georgia, YMCA.
Scope and Content
The collection consists of papers of Walter T. Forbes regarding Georgia YMCA camps at Camp Chattooga, Tallulah Falls, and Pine Tops Camp, Mitchell's Falls, from the 1900s. Included are letters regarding registration, payments, and camp activities; forms, brochures, and pamphlets regarding camps; photographs of camp activities; and newspaper clippings regarding Walter Forbes, his death, and Y camps.
