Atlanta-based author Kathy Hogan Trocheck, who has used the pen name Mary Kay Andrews since 2002, has written ten mysteries and twelve novels. A native of St. Petersburg, Florida, Trocheck attended the University of Georgia and spent ten years working as a reporter for the Atlanta Journal-Constitution before pursuing a career as a fiction writer. The mysteries published under her own name, including the critically-acclaimed Every Crooked Nanny (1992), Happy Never After (1995), and Strange Brew (1997) were primarily set in Atlanta. With the assumption of a pseudonym Trocheck's work began to deal with southern themes and often draw from her passion for antiques, entertaining, and the coastal south. Her work as Mary Kay Andrews includes the New York Times' bestselling Ladies Night (2013), Spring Fever (2012), and Summer Rental (2011).
This collection includes articles, manuscripts, research notes, reviews, and publicity and promotional information documenting the writings and career of Kathy Hogan Trocheck, including the works she completed using the pseudonym Mary Kay Andrews.
