Johnny Mercer (1909-1976) was an American lyricist, songwriter and singer born in Savannah, Georgia.
The collection consists of one typed letter: undated, "Mr. Wilk," signed "John M-," regarding a book Henry Kane, David Ewen and Mercer are debuting in the fall. Mercer agrees to "help in any way," and thanks Wilk for the inclusion of his name "amongst the list of desirables."
