Historical Note
R. C. Kelly was the father of Cole Howard Kelly, who donated the collection. R.C. Kelly was likely a friend or business associate of Cole Porter in their shared hometown of Peru, Indiana.
Scope and Content
The collection consists of one photo album containing photographs of R. C. Kelly, Cole Porter, and Howard Sturgess on a trip to Machu Picchu in the 1920s or 1930s. Most of the photographs are of the local population and architecture.
