Collection Description

Scope and Content

The collection consists of flower show programs and garden club yearbooks from middle Georgia, including Federated Garden Clubs of Macon, Inc. and Ingoli Garden Club of Macon, Georgia. The collection also contains correspondence addressed to Mrs. Francis G. Clark (and Bessie Clark), mainly concerning flower shows, and papers of and concerning HANDS (Home and Neighborhood Development Sponsors, a part of the Sears Community Development Fund). Included is the Ingoli Garden Club wooden scrapbook containing certificates, a petition of the Ingoli Garden Club, newspaper clippings, and the constitution and by-laws of the club.
