The collection consists of a disbound scrapbook containing speeches, certificates from Blue Ridge High School and Georgia High School, University of Georgia Glee Club programs, and newspaper clippings regarding the Boys' Quartet of Reinhardt College, and members of the Debating Society at Reinhardt College. Further newspaper clippings regard awards won by Harmon, his activities in the Athens, Clarke County community, and Harmon's "Radio Ramblings" column from the Banner-Herald. Issues of newsletters and magazines concern the religious radio show "Church of Your Choice," winner of a Peabody Award. The collection also includes Harmon's Bausch & Lomb Honorary Science Award and George Foster Peabody Award, information about the Peabody Award, advertisements and radio schedules from WDOL Radio, advertisements and information about "Radio-Advertising Clinic," and some photographs.
Though the collection is open for research, the audio recording does not have reference copies; however, reference copies are available upon request at The Walter J. Brown Media Archives. Audio research requests are dependent upon the format and condition of the recordings.
