The collection consists of certificates and diplomas of Andrew Jackson Cobb. Included are Cobb's University of Georgia High school report cards, University of Georgia Certificates of Merit, Proficiency, and diplomas; Certificates of Admission to the Bar, Appointments to boards, and Certificates of Election. Further certificates include Mary H. Stark's Griffin Female College diploma; Albert Edward Davison's Mystic Shrine, Yaarab Temple, Atlanta, Georgia Certificate of Membership; Ida Davison's Mary Ann Lipscomb Elementary school of Lucy Cobb Institute certificate of completion of seventh grade; and Aaron Newton Bowers, Jr.'s Atlanta Southern Dental College, Atlanta, Georgia Doctorate of Dental Surgery.
