John Darsey was an attorney who worked on criminal trials after World War II in Tokyo, Japan. He assisted Joseph Berry Keenan, who was the chief prosecutor in the International Military Tribunal for the Far East (IMTFE). He also worked for the Justice Department.
The collection consists of an album containing letters, press releases, clippings, photographs related to the criminal trials held in Tokyo, Japan after World War II. Also included is a copy of the indictment. The clippings concern the proceedings of the trials and some are in Japanese. The photographs are of Darsey and there are official shots of courtroom scenes, including shots of the defendants.
